Carpet

I recently pulled the carpet out of my '92 YJ. Is it safe to just put in the washing machine?
Thanks for the help

On delicate cycle and I would not tumble dry in the dryer, just let it air dry.

better be a super heavy duty washer. High pressure washer or hose usualy works just as good
