I disagree. The AX15 should stand up the the demands of a 350, but that's just my opinion. But he does make a good point. The AX15 is a medium duty transmission. If you're going to go for a 350, why not go all out and find a GM transmission? In my opinion, you'll have more luck with the longevity of a GM transmission. The AX 15, is one of the better transmissions found in Wranglers but still....GM transmissions can take an x-large can of whoop ass that the 350 will put out.
Have you started considering the rest of your drive train? The transmission isn't the only thing you're going to have to replace..
