Cj7 hard top and doors on yj?

Quick question everybody! Would a 1986 cj7 hard top and doors fit on my 1988 jeep wrangler? With no modifications?

like said above tailgate wont match up, the tailgate on a yj is shorter than that of a cj so there will be a gap. Doors will work perfect though i have cj doors on my yj

I had a CJ hard top on my YJ. The biggest issue is if you run a spare tire on the tailgate instead of a swingaway bumper. The back hatch on a CJ has to open 1st so it's hard to reach behind the tire and turn the latch. Then you have to be careful about synchronizing opening the hatch and gate together. If you have a swing away, no big deal. I also ran CJ doors. No issue there at all.

CJ-5 doors are a non-starter on a Wrangler.
