Clutch help

So after wheeling my jeep most of the day swamped it in a deep whole water up the doors a couple inches. i was stuck after going back in fourth in 4 lo got pulled out and had no drive power could start the jeep in gear with out the clutch pedal pressed in. After all the water drained out check all linkages everything was good so put it in gear and some time will crawl like 5 mph most no mater how much gas. but makes no noise cant smell burning clutch nothing and eventually doesn't move anywhere so im thinking the clutch is just shot and wont grab at all does this seem to be right??

Do you have any clutch pedal? Maybe the throw out bearing is shot and you have mud behind the preasure plate stopping the clutch disc from contacting the flywheel. Either way sounds like you are going to have to pull the tranny.

Sounds similar to getting oil on the clutch. I'd replace it.

I had a similar problem with mine. All that was wrong with mine was the pressure plate was dirty. Before u replace anything pull the clutch off and clean the pressure plate with some air and brake cleaner. Did that to mine now it works great.
