Clutch issue?

I have the 2.5 in my yj with 31 inch mts. When I am going 50-60mph up hills in 4th or 5th gear, and I step on the accelerator, the engine revs and rpms increase, but I get no acceleration. It's seems as if it is slipping out of gear or running out of power, but if I floor it the engine revs up and I lose all acceleration, but when I let off the accelerator it goes back to normal and catches again. The drivetrain works great at all other times, even off road or when I really try to accelerate in 1st-3rd gear, the clutch seems fine.
Is this the clutch or tranny? Or just a weak motor with big tires?

Sounds like the clutch I have a 4.0 and before i changed my clutch i was having the same problem in fifth gear works mint now but those 4cylinders never had that much pulling power does it grind in any of the gears? If you change the clutch while you have the transmission off change throw out bearing and slave cylinder and check pressure plate for wear hope this helps
