clutch pedal

OK I cant find an other threads on this. My clutch pedal came unattached on my home today. to be more exact the rod that comes off the back of the arm came out. If i out it bak in it the clutch works but the rod doesnt lock in and is simply pulled back out. what do i do?

When you buy and master cylinder it comes with that rod with the plastic retainer on the end.

Seems you've just snaped the retainer and chances are in the near future you'll have to put a whole new master cylinder in so might as well have a spare.
