clutch pedal got soft and cant get it into gear

i just purchased my second wrangler its a 90 yj with the 2.5 liter in it. i was driving it around messing around today and after i shut it off once i went to strat it up and put it backinto gear and it was really really hard to do and the clutch pedal felt soft. finally i slammed it into gear but it stalled out so started it and the truck started moving forward and with enough gas i got it to fire over and could drive up my driveway. the guy i got it from said he just bled the clutch and when i tried it out it shifted fine, do you think the clutch needs to get rebled?

Double check and make sure that you have some fluid in the res. first, had that happen to mine once, the soft peddle sounds the same.... but yea sounds like you need to re do the process...

Keep an eye on it. if you lost fluid that means it leaked out somewhere. clutch fluid dosent just dissapper like that. it might be a slow leak but you deffenetley have a leak.
