Clutch Problem 95 rio grande

Here is my issue. I have a 1995 rio grande with the 2.5L. Sometimes when I am at a stop light, especially on hotter days it seems, my jeep wants to pull itself while I have the clutch engaged. It makes it very hard to pull out of 1st gear and switching from 1st to 2nd is a pain, but all other gears are fine. Again this only happens sometimes and on warmer days. I have thought about replacing the entire clutch system, but I am hoping it is something less expensive.

Any ideas?

You need to replace the clutch slave cylinder. You can find the master and slave as a package. It's a ready to bolt on closed loop system. Fluid is pre-bleed. 4 bolts, 15 min install.

Is it really that easy to do? After my 95 heats up the clutch squeaks when pushing in the pedal and first gear is sort of hard to get into. The worst part is that the whole jeep sometimes lurches when taking off from a dead stop.

I do a lot of my work, but have never done a clutch before.

I would HIGHLY suggest getting the master/slave kit. everything comes together as said and there is no bleeding to be done. its all bolt and go.
