I noticed an issue shifting into 2nd gear (first is too low so don't really use it on the street) and reverse. The long story is I noticed this a year ago and replaced the master cylinder and it seemed to solve the issue.
However here I am again and experiencing the same problem. I thought maybe the master cylinder I got had gone bad, so I replaced it, an bled. And now I can't shift into any gear at all. While bleeding many iterations, I was able to roughly shift into 2nd or 1st (like before switching the master cylinder).
I am now suspicious of the master cylinder being the root cause. Other information:
What do y'all suggest?

had the trany rebuilt about 2K miles ago
problem gets worse the warmer the engine is, or the longer I drive it
93, 4.0 have not replaced clutch or bearings or slave since I have owned it.
