clutch slave cylinder

how do i tell if i have a peugeot or an aisin in my 89 jeep wrangler with a 4.2. i have to replace the slave but i cant seem to find what type of tranny i have.

take ur vin# to the dealership they will input it into their computer and u'll find out ur jeeps birthday, gears, everything.

Odds are you have the BA 10'5 Peugot in that. Google it a YJ Wrangler Peugot tranny and you'll find pictures to help you.
