Clutch starting to go... what parts.

Gonna replace my clutch soon, I need help figuring out which parts i need or SHOULD replace while I have the tranny out. I don't wanna spend an arm and a leg, i just want to know what would be a good idea to replace. So far I have:

Clutch
Pressure Plate

Clutch disc, pressure plate, pilot bearing, throwout bearing, resurface/replace flywheel. I'm pretty sure that's everything. Also its a good idea to check the level of brake fluid (DOT3) in your clutch reservoir. Good luck!

Everyone pretty much agrees that the safest/best thing to do is order a LUK clutch set (it comes with a pressure plate, disc, Throw out bearing, pilot bearing, and alignment tool.

If you are lucky someone local will carry them....I wasn't lucky...so I went against the grain and got a different brand, but if you plan on keeping your jeep get the LUK.

If you can't find one locally, expect it to run around 200.00 for the set shipped to your door (thats what it was going to run me, but I didn't feel like waiting).

DO NOT resurface the flywheel.. or you'll be replacing it. just scuff it up with 180 grit sand paper, unless it has obvious problems. this is at least true on TJ's. I assume it is for you.

On my '95 4cyl I Chose to do nothing to my flywheel the first time I installed a clutch. 3 months later when I got to put the 2nd clutch in (due to the clutch disc getting eaten alive by the rough flywheel) I took the flywheel to a local machine shop and had it resurfaced for $28. A year later it's still runnin great

Where would i look for the LUK set? Auto zone? Advanced? O'riely's? I'll do some calling around tomorrow since i don't have school.
