code #27

OK,I swap 2.5 for 4.0. I bought new 4 hole injectors off eBay,and got a #27 code and a fuel smell.we hooked the jeep up to a scanner and it said #6 injector not functioning properly so they sent me another injector.got it on today and still have the same problem.I spliced the 5th and 6th wires into the 2.5 harness and everything seems to be connected right.the jeep shakes between 1500 and 2000 rpms.anybody have this problem before.93 jeep with 95 4.0 5 speed.thanks

If you can unplug the injector and nothing happens then its not getting power. It might be that its not getting enough power.
