Cold air draft on pass. side out of heater box.

So as the weather gets colder this draft i have becomes a lot more noticeable. When i drive down the road my passenger gets hit with a cold blast of air from the heater box. Changing the climate controls makes no change. If i turn them to off it will go away but with the heat on you get icy cold air. Anyone have any thoughts? I have checked all relate seals and i cant see any opening in the firewall. something im missing??

Is the vent on the passenger side open? It's likely stuck open. Here's a link to show you how the whole heating system works.

WD40 all of the sliding/moving parts connected to the vent door by the passengers feet. cycle it a couple of times. if it does not move, it is either corroded in the open position or the control cable has come loose.
