Hey guys my names Dom
1992 Jeep Wrangler Renegade 6 cylinder
About two weeks i had trouble starting from a cold start once i put my foot on the gas all the way down she would fire right up and run good other then a rough idle here and there
i was told it was the fuel filter was most likely bad so i replaced it and still didnt start up from a cold start.
So i started to trouble shoot my self and went to the throttle body i removed the IACV and it was covered in gunk so i cleaned it it spotless and then cleaned the TPS not that theres much to clean and the truck started right up and ran good again but the idle was still rough.
Then i did more reaserch to to find out i should have removed the batt. to reset the computer so i did this and now the truck wont start again from a cold start only with the gas all the way down....
The question i have for all of you is what should i try now...Should i replace the idle air control valve (IACV) ???
I also sprayed cleaner in the hole where the IACV sits
Please give me your opinion.
Thank you in advance - Dom
