Column Shifter Knobs

Anyone have the gauge on replacement shifter knobs. I know it's super generic...but i have a auto steering column shift lever and the little rubber knob at the end is cracked and won't stay on. All I can find are manual shift knobs.

I was thinking about using a .50cal brass shell...gluing a rubber sleeve inside it to fit over the lever. Anybody seen that mod? Might be cool and go good with a ammo box center console one day?!?!

Thx! I'm going to try the weather strip. I'll post a pic if it turns out nice.

Not without measuring. Internet says 13-14mm but that seems bigger than mine

? I slid a piece of vacuum tubing over my column lever and then worked the shell over that. Took a little shaving with the dremel to get it perfect but the entire mod took maybe 15 minutes. No glue or jb weld.
