coolant leak: water pump?

Forgive me for not doing a thorough search on this. I'm at work and found this while on lunch. I can't exactly crawl around under there now. It's running down the bottom radiator hose. The clamp is tight and the hose is just 2 weeks old. Is it coming from the water pump?

Thanks.

Could be. First I'd triple check the hose for any crack or tightness even if it was new. Hose is good...well time to replace the WP.

Any leaking from the water pump will most likely be comming form the weap hole on the back of it.

I've never done a water pump before. Sorry, no Chilton manual to refer to.

What is it I read about the direction of my fan turning as to which way the bolt is threaded? I can't tell which way it turns.

I just replaced the water pump on my Jeep pickup.
My undercarriage looked like yours.
My hoses were new, clamps were new and tight.

The weephole does not always tell the truth, but it's a good assumption. Water pump is the safest of all assumptions and probably the right one. Your temp guage should be higher than normal also....after I ruled out hoses and cracked block.

Does anyone know which direction to unscrew the fan clutch bolt on a 92 YJ so I can get to the pump?

Is it radiator leaking? Put an egg in it.

Nope, brand new radiator.
I'm pretty sure it's the water pump.

Do I turn the nut counterclockwise to remove the fan clutch?

Thanks.

Good Je***---it's like juju.
Gassed up after work and splattering gas station cement. It wasn't overflow. From what I saw it came from the waterpump.

Not leaking now. Classic waterpump unless someone here knows something I don't know which is very friggin likekly.

Just put one in my J10 a month ago. $250 mechanic bill.
