Coupla issues here.

Been lurking a long time, trying to gather info. I am new to the Jeep community and recently bought an 89 Wrangler with a 2.5 engine. It is in great shape for its age, and for what I paid for it, I can afford to do a little work on it and not feel too bad.

First, I did do a search and did not get the answer to this question. Also, bought a Haynes manual, which is sorely lacking in specifics. But, I am looking to put in after market gauges and I dont know which one to get. They list different resistance to the sending units and I really dont know which one to buy. What is the sending unit resistance for these older model Jeeps?

Thanks.

And, I just noticed that I did not specify which gauge that I am looking for. I am talking about the fuel gauge. Looking to replace the stock gauges with something a little easier to read.

And, to be more specific, what is the resistance of the fuel sending unit. Looking to get an Autometer fuel gauge, but I dont know which one to get.

I put equus gauges to replace all mine with the autometer gauge housings. The equus gauges were cheaper. If I remember right, the fuel gauge i got is 0-90 ohms. It's not exact but it was the closest I could find.
