I am going to be building some, I am mid design right now. I have to get the metal cut and tube bent at a shop because I don't have the tools but I am welding, grinding, painting and drilling myself.

Heres a thread over at JF. good stuff. Leans Homemade Rock Sliders! - JeepForum.com

There are plenty more out there if you look, this one helped me a good bit.

BlackoutYJ, I am sure he could build you one since you asked so nicely haha. But by the time he shipped them I bet it would be cheaper to get someone local to build them the same. But its up to him.

Well he is fairly local to me.  and I'd love to build my own but lack of a welder and machinery won't help me much.

I'm in no big hurry. You know someone in park hills that builds them? Jathon Cruse by chance?

I know Shane somehow, maybe through my dad or a friend. And Duncan yes he's does slot of good work. Haven't had him build me anything but he is the cheapest to get a oversized tire mounted and balance.

Both shane and andy worked for him for several years....they are out on their own now. Do you want yours exactly like mine or you wanting something different?

Same is fine. And I know Andy as well now that you mention he has his own shop. I was just over there the otter day picking up a Power Stroker talking to him about swapping a carrier in my 8.8
