D35 to D35C ring and pinion question

I have a D35 sitting on the side of my house with 4.10 gears in it, from when my retainer plate busted open and turned my Jeep into a 3 wheeler. Drivers side of the axle was ground up pretty badly.

I got a donor D35C axle that has 3.54 gears in it and an LSD. So I have one D35 retainer plate, and one D35C c-clip axle. Are the gears interchangeable between the 2?

It would be really nice to get my 4.10 gears back underneath the rear end of my Jeep. I just want to change the gears, not swap the carriers. Is that possible?

Sell them both and go get a junkyard ford 8.8 with 4.10s and disc brakes.

Do you want to fork over the funds for me to do that as well as something I can use as a DD in the meantime, AND come do some welding for me?

No? Then shut it.

I already have all of these components lying around, otherwise I wouldn't be asking.

And I found the answer to my question, they will interchange.

yes the carriers are the same but you would have to set your pinion gear. the back lash is the most complex thing to a 3rd member
