Dana 30 disconnect eliminating ?

My 93 YJ passenger side axle seal is leaking again and I want to eliminate the disconnect w/the a solid shaft. I have a shaft already but what size seal do I put in to replace the old one. Is that all I need to do pull out the two piece shaft replace the seal and the shaft and make a cover for where the disconnect went.

The seal is a napa 11800. Install it at the carrier. Yes, remove the two piece shaft, on the pumpkin side of the vac housing is a hard plastic piece the old shaft rides on, that should be removed. You can make a plate to cover the vac fork actuator, I left all mine in so I have the 4wd indicator. The fork will slide left to right when engaged in 4wd but it doesn't hit the one piece shaft.
