Dana 30 rebuild questions

I'm replacing my pinion and carrier bearings in my dana 30 and have a few questions. The jeep is a 93 wrangler, 4.0, 5 spd. I have everything remove from the front end and as i'm cleaning the tubes out i see a female splined bushing (?) on the inside of the shift fork cutout. Is this a bearing that needs to be replaced?
Also there was not a passenger side axle seal. Where does this seal go?

Pass side seal is outboard of the CAD (shift fork cutout as u put it). I was wondering about that bushing as well. The replacement is only 15 bucks but I have no idea what the replacement process is. Hopefully someone else will chime in.

Make sure you're careful when doing that seal outside the shift motor housing. Buy two because there is always the chance of messing it up while seating it. Its also a fun time trying to pound it out.

trying to keep the cost down right now. Probably upgrade in the future.
