Dana 35c with no clips

OK newbie here with a questions. I have a slight grinding noise in my rear diff. I took off the cover and it appears the pass side axle has moved in towards the spider gear and is rubbing. I took off the tire and Warn locking hubs ( installed by previous owner) the axle slides in and out. What holds the axle in place. Is something broken? Thanks

So somebody put a warn hub conversion on a dana 35? If so I think that means you have a floating axle shaft. Which I have no clue how its held in. You have a rare bird there. Few mentions of it on google.. I would call warn and ask them.

Yep locking hubs. Thanks I will call Warn. My buddy thinks the the two rings on the end hold it and may have loosened up.

Any other comments/ideas would be appreciated

AS far as I know, Warn no longer makes parts for that full-float conversion. I would contact them though.
