Dana 60 outer axle seal?

I was told Dana 60 axles dont have outer seals. However, after 4 months my inner seal on the front drivers side tube has gone out and was told its most likely due to sand and dirt getting into the tube from no outer axle seal. Is it possible to put an outer seal on a Dana 60? Or am i stuck replacing the seal after every 5 or 6 outings? The pass side and rear seals are holding up well. Both front and rear axles are Dynatrac ProRock 60s

Many other little goodies!
Swap to a 4BT diesel in the future? Most likely.

I have never seen a D60 with outer seals. Might be some out there that came with outers, but I've never come in contact with them. I know there are aftermarket seals avaliable, but most guys that use them over on Dodgetalk & Pirate say their garbage & a waste of money.

I would contact Dynatrac & talk to them about this issue. You have more money in those axles than most guys on here have in their entire Jeep. I would hate to see them fail on you. A phone call to Dyantrac is warranted.

I was on the phone with them and they seemed shocked to know the seal went bad that quickly. I have a hunch that the incorrect seal was installed... Im not too pleased with the shop that I took it to and noticed that the seal part number that Dynatrac gave me differed from the part number on the seal they installed. I cant wait to learn to change it myself and see if the seals are different and how the dynatrac advised axle seal holds up.

The number can be just a different brand, but it may be a single lip that keeps oil in but not sand and water out. IDK
Can you see it to tell if it's just a single lip?
