Dash Lights

Well, i have no dash lights, i'm assuming the dimmer switch died as it would only work in one position previously. What do you guys do to replace this switch? just a replacment or go toggle? if toggle how did you wire it? any suggestions are appreciated

If you don't have a Haynes or Chiltons manual, they are actually pretty helpful. As for replacing the dimmer switch, I'm not to knowledgeable on YJ's.

If it is just a switch, that is something that can either be found on eBay or even matched up with a radio shack type toggle.

Quadratec sucks but....

They have a heck of a lot of parts. Here is a link to the switch you need http://http://www.quadratec.com/products/55211_03.htm. its kinda expensive but if your area is like mine you wont be able to find any jeeps in the junk yards.
I had my switch fail a couple of years ago and the only way i could get the lights to turn on was to shove a nickel in between the rocker switch and mounting plate! i drove like that for 3 years before spending the money to replace the switch. good luck
