Hi Redneck...i did all mine in the blue, but my jeep is in alabama and i'm in staten island....sooo, i can't post pics, but it looks AWESOME!!...you'll be glad you made the change....and i went ahead and popped for the more expensive 220 degree ones....ultra bright, but the dimmer sets them nicely....

nothing to taking apart the dash...6 screws for the center section to remove the bezel, 5 screws i believe for the tach and speedo, and then the screws that hold the actual gauges in....lights are just wedge base plug ins....i replaced every one in my dash, including the ones for the idiot lights in just over an hour....

to clarify....i changed all the idiot light bulbs, but just used the white ones....the bezel has different color lenses for them so no need to use colored lights......

Something to add abt the dimmer switch if u went the cheap route like I did (I got the single leds 90 deg in green) the dimmer switch won't do anything but turn them on and off. Mine are plenty bright I believe pics are posted earlier in the thread if u want a look. So if u want to control the brightness via the dimmer get a cluster not the singles just something to think abt

I want to do this to mine, but I need to find out why the lights went out in the first place. Is it a bad dimmer or a wire connection or one bad bulb that turned them all out?

I am sort of leaning towards the blue actually... Red sometimes hurts the eyes...

hopefully you can see it all in the full view pic
Hey sorry this is kind of late here mouse, but which bulbs did u use? the WLED - x, WLED -x4, WLED -x5, or the WLED -x6

Just so you have an idea of what you could do. Go to superbrightleds.com and order a few LED's and do the whole dash. If I remember correctly you only need 7 bulbs (one is your 4 wheel drive selector which will light up differently as well) and they are all the 194 style bulb. Really easy and you can color coordinate to your vehicle color.
Just what I was looking for. How to get to the bulb/s behind the speedo? I just ordered LEDs for mine but I'm not sure how difficult it is to get to it...

note: LED has + and -, so try switching them the other way...
