Dash lights went out.. :(

Okay so my father and I took off the whole metal dash board on my 92 YJ to make it easier to replace my windshield frame hinges. We didn't unplug all the wires or anything, we just pulled it 2-3 inches away from the jeep so it was easier to get my hands up there. Well I got it all back together and now my dash lights wont work. The tachometer, speedometer, gas gauge, temp gauge, and whatever other gauges there are in there won't light up when I turn on the parking lights or the head lights. I'm just wondering if this has ever happened to anyone else and what you think it may be.

Thanks everyone! Your help is greatly appreciated!

Check the connection and fuse at the fuse block.

which connection? theres a plug that plugs into the back of the tach/speedometer gauge pod. I checked that and made sure it was in tight but it still doesnt work.

I'll have to check the fuse.

Anyone know which fuse it is? I can't find one that says Dash Lights or something.

not 100% sure if 92 is the same - but on my 94 its on the same
circuit as the taillights- might check the rotary dimmer switch
connector also..

This happened to me. I took the dash apart and changed bulbs and cleaned lenses. When I got it all back together nothing would light up. I looked over and it was the rotorary switch where I wiped it with a rag and turned the lights off.

I find that the rotary dimmer is very sensitive.
