Dash Question

Hey Guys....

I purchased a '93 Wrangler yesterday and my learning curve is very steep today! I was initially planning to buy a 02-04, but the '93 I found has 47,000 original miles. I am undoing some of the mods that were done. The previous owner installed two rocker switches in the dash, in a block off plate right of the steering wheel. Anybody have any idea where I can get one of those plates? (Without rocker switch holes)

Thanks

I'm betting he is looking for the panel that is to the right and under the steering column where the factory driving/fog lamp switch goes.

ill have to lean toward what abomination said. i busted my stock fog light switch and am currently thinking about what i can use to cover that area. so far my ideas have been to take a small piece of light aluminum or plastic (whatever i can find), cut it to shape and glue it over the other piece. then for new switches just drill through both parts. just an idea. let us know what you come up with

I checked and I don't see one with out the stock switch holes in it. Perhaps you might try a junk yard. I think that lens can be removed and replaced.

The rockers were for optional fog lamps, rear wipers and rear defrost. My '92 dash is just a blank panel. Best bet is a parts truck or just leave the switches (or replace them). You'll probably find a use for some switches some time in the future.

Here's the picture. The previous owner didn't do such a great install job.....I'd like to start over.

Good call! Those look very narrow, perhaps you can find some factory switches if you can't find a blank plate.

Initially, none....I can't believe there's not a NOS supplier for the part. Anybody know of a supplier for YJ parts? I foud an online parts diagram of the dash, but they did not have the part.

Hit up a Jeep Junkyard. Someone is bound to have that dash panel.

let me check, I recently put one in with the factory rear wiper and defroster switches and I think I still have my blank one in the garage.
