Dash Speaker Replacement

I am thinking of replacing the speakers in my 94 YJ. Does the dash have to come out to get to the speakers or is there and easier way. I haven'tfigured out how to get to them from the front yet. Any suggestions on replacement speakers that will fit without alteration? Looking for decent sound when it is loud inside.

You do not have to take out the dash. You have to take the e-brake loose to get to the drivers side speaker though. The size is 4x6 for the dash speakers.

If it were me I would go with a sound bar! and additional speekers on Floor bord, under dash, and in front of the shifter! YOu can barley hear dash speakers when the top is off!
