dimmer switch

I'm pretty sure my dimmer switch needs to be replaced. The dimmer must be burned out in spots since it dims slighty then goes out then comes back on and then goes out. Is this a dealer part or can I find it online or at a parts store?

which dimmer switch? headlights or gauges? if gauges, try a junk yard. mopar part number is 5600 1864 for the gauge rheostat.
