doing a soa lift....

I am getting ready to do a soa lift on my 95 YJ. I just put in a 5.7 SBC, 4L60E, and not sure the transfer cas. Think it is like a 208, but not sure. So anyways here is my question. I am wanting to put a ford 8.8 in the rear, but not sure on the front axle. I would like to stick with the same lug pattern... what is the best route??? My brother mention going with a dana 44 front and go with locking hubs, but the lug pattern is different. Looking for some help fellow jeepers!!!

I am planning on a SBC swap in my '95. I want to do axles at the same time so i have been doing a bunch or research. What I have gathered is that there is not enough of a gain between a 30 and 44 to make much a difference. So what I have decided is either going up to both dana 60's or to keep it a little more street worthy and go with the 8.8 rear and keeping the dana 30 and putting a 31 spline carrier and CM axle shafts. And to keep stuff the same, they do sell a axle kit that widens the 8.8 (explorer 8.8 is narrower) and I believe that it has a stock jeep bolt pattern.
This is just my consensus from the information I have gathered from forums and talking to some big jeepers in my town.
Hope this helps a little.
