Door problem...

Well today, i pulled in to get gas and went to open the door and it wouldnt open, so i figured that rod that is in there came off again like it has in the past. I went to open it from the outside and still nothing and when i took the panel off, everything seems to be hook up and working, but they just wont release. I've been trying to move everything by hand and what not, but it still won't budge Is there something i can do to get the door to release or any ideas what could be the problem?

I couldnt get my tailgate lock to turn and the door mechanism was stiff. I sprayed the whole thing with silicone lubricant and solved the problem. The lock turns smoothly and the door works fine. Not saying that will solve your problem but my lock and components looked as grungy as yours before I sprayed it.

Well, i think what it turned out being, is it locked itself. The key has never worked in the door since i have had it and I'm thinking that just over time it worked itself locked. It was weird as heck...

Well it seems to of messed up again, i'm not sure whats wrong with it, for some reason it wont come unlatched. I'm going to try and find a used latch part on ebay and replace it, if i can get it open . Do the doors come fully apart, so i can get at it to replace that part ? Thanks

I'm having a hard time finding the right part, I've seen a few on eBay, but I'm not sure if it's the right ones... I'm going to have to take the hinges off of the door to get it off, if that will ever work
