Drain holes... 95' YJ?? confused..

i have my drain holes... and they are like glued in from factory.... i have to chizle them out witha a flat head and a hammer... then... the metal plate then went there.. dont fit.. does any one know what i can put in there so that the next time i wheel i dont get water/mud in to the cab.. i cant thing of anthing that i can put there... i would like to do it right. i have the money, if some one knows of a thing that they sell that is made for it.. let me know.

Okay so the plugs for the holes are metal?
I know you can shove some rubber grommets in there to stop water/mud

Yeah, they are like these metal plugs but once you take em out.. they dont go back in. and rubber grommets.. like if i go to depot.. what would i ask for.?

go see a plumbing supply or electrical supply house..................or home depot.
