Drivers door paddle

On the replacement YJ drivers door paddle popped out Turns out the PO inserted the retaining clips and bars upside down Kid and I got the back in there I figured out a trick!!! We also need to do the passenger door (it is loose) We will try to do a video clip to show shortcut!

Sweet! PLEASE post up any "trick" you may have found to make this easier! Haha! Changing out these things is a PITA!

Mine is loose and has about 3/4" of play before the door opens. I adjusted the rod inside, but when I tighten it the rod pops off the clip even though it is a good clip. Any ideas?
