driveshaft lengths

just wondering if there is some place that breaks down the different lenghts for the rear driveshafts, on yj's? mine in my 87 wrangler, decided to leave the vehicle one day while goin down the road, and was impossible to find..

so I got one for a 95, since mine had the 91+ 4.0/5spd conversion, I figured it would work.. boy was I wrong...

so, I was wondering in length, what would a 95 be, compared to what I would need (at least an inch shorter) thanks!

oh ya, when figure out lenghts, where do you measure?!

I've looked in to it, and its always been around 100 bucks for doin that... I have a small (3 in) lift in mine, and it still wouldn't fit, even with the suspension fully dropped, it wouldn't go in the rear yolk

ruhlahan needs one an inch shorter and reevesdieselyj needs one an inch longer.

Why not trade shafts? Just a thought.

I found one off a 90 4.2 5spd, so the length should be ok, and I can reuse the transfercase yolk if needed...
