Easy fix for torque arm bushing stud/bolt

OK so I managed to solve my torque arm bushing/stud problem. I lost the nut on the end of the stud and it is a mystery size bolt of course.

I had to pull it all apart but came up with a cheap and easy fix.

I went to AutoZone and got a "universal shock bolt kit" part #31001 or 705-001-S. It is in their "help" section. I just happened to see it while I was looking for something else and said "that might work!"

It had bushings, stud, bolts, washers and nuts all for $5.99. Length was just about right so, I gave it a try. Dropped the skid plate (make sure you use jack stands to support the trans and tc) then used the sawzall to cut the old stud out. Just need to reverse the bushings so the wider size was against the torque arm.

Bolted it all together and it fit just fine. Problem solved!!!!

I saved the lower end of the stud and next time I am at the hardware store I will see if I can figure out the size and post it to save the next person some time.
