Electric Fan Help

Ok when I bought my mustang 5.0 it came with a electric fan not hooked up, and all the wiring, gonna install it in the jeep this week sometime, just curious where this goes? I think I could be a temp sensor to make it turn on, if I'm right where would it go?

I've seen some tucked into the radiator fins, but I'm sure somebody that has one will help you out.

Does your fan automatically turn on or is it straight to a toggle switch?

that is supposed to go in the radiator fins near the top hose.. since that is gonna be the hotter coolant... i usually took them and mounted them on the back side of the radiator instead of sticking them in the fins.. both ways works

i would take some of those special platic things that u mount ur fan to the radiator with... they are like $8 for four of them... they are ment to go through the radiator...and i would stand the probe up and put one at hte top on one side of the probe and one on the bottom on the otherside it is hard to explain..
