If I were you I would purchase an aux fuse box as well, connect that to your 12v system off the battery. Then connect your 12v exterior lights to that, so that anything you ever add to the Jeep, you have a fuse box for. That way everything's protected. Amazon has them for decent prices!

Since it's an LED bar, it's going to draw very little power. Just hook it up to the existing wiring harness, in a convenient place, like maybe the cigarette lighter wires. Then when you are ready to do the full blown new fuse box, you can simply attach your bar to those!

I would say adding the light bar to the cig lighter wires is okay. But as soon as you go attaching more and more things, you are going to need an auxiliary fuse box. They're literally $10 on amazon. Water resistant and covered.
It's an easy cord through the firewall, with fuses for protection, and it'll clean up your wiring harness.

But for now, just do the LED, and attach the aux box later when you add the CB.
