Elictricity sucks.

Hi guys, I need some help, I have a 95 2.5 with no spark I've tried just about everything. New coil, new distributer, new ignition, and new crank sensor. Now the most resent part was the ignition and before I put that in this is what was going on, the engine would turn over all day long and there was power going into the coil but there was no power coming out, on top of that all my other electronics (headlights, gauges. Ect) wouldn't work (actually that's not true, the headlights would work but only if I plugged the switch in upside down, but then they would just stay on I couldn't shut them off) now that I have the new ignition in the only things that changed were the headlights work in the correct way, and there is absolutely no power going into the coil, however the check engine light did come on after the new ignition was installed.

I've been working on this project for almost 11 years now and I'm so close I can almost taste, I've taken it to two different shops and both came up with a whole lotta nothing, really frustrated.

Diesels don't have spark plugs.......could THIS be your issue????

Seriously...... check ALL of your grounds and make sure they are clean down to BRIGHT SHINY metal.......this is also true of ALL of your battery connections.... and ANY other electrical connections. Gremlins live in dirty/corroded connections.
