engine boggs down - loss of power

OK, so I'm new here and had a question. 1992. was driving and had loss of power but it never died. Where do I start first?

Mine did this when the fuel pump was going bad, it just got worse.

was driving had bogging down and loss of power . had to down shift ,did that thru all the gears but it never died , just bought the car havent diven it but maybe 300 miles so i have to start somewhere to find the problem. maybe a fuel issue, not sure.

Your Car or your Jeep.. What vehlicle we talking about here.. Either way I would start with fuel pump. That would be my first guess without driving it myself

Clogged furl filter? Loose/bad wire from the coil? Bad alternator?

jeep...But now it wont start. When i turn the key i hear power to the fuel pump.if you pump the gas is tries to start.

Could also be a clogged CAT or Tail pipe, but that usually is a bit more slow to happen.
