After you gt it all swapped over, you will still need about 1299 for exhaust and driveshafts, just make sure you pick the right donor vehicle so you get everything you can at once.
IMO, the transmissions in the Dodges are LOOONG! unless you want a manual, do your research, rear drive-shaft length can be a HUGE factor.
Another option, use a GM driveline, there are more adapters and swap options available out there. I will be
going to a 4.3L or 5.7L GM with a 700R4/4Ll60E, which is also A LONG transmission, but JB conversions has adapters that will shave 3" between the transmission and transfer case ( http://www.jbconversions.com/products/adapters/1002.php
), along with 4-6" off the transfer-case tail-shaft via a SSYE ( http://www.jbconversions.com/product..._short_sye.php
), basically bringing my drive-shaft back to a manageable length, but they are expensive!
