engine swap in yj

Should i put a V8 in my yj if im gonna run 38s or will the 4.2 hold up to the challenge?

I've seen 2.5l handle better than the 4.2. So my answer is go with the v8!!!

even a hampster wheel can turn 38's with the right gearing...

Well im gonna go with a 350 or 400 small block 4 bolt main with Dana 44 or a Dana 60 and 38s or 44s but i don't know what gearing to use important trying to build an extreme trail rig but this is the first time to build one. So im trying to as much input as possible

I've built mudders before but from what i seen there are major build differences between mud buggys and trail rigs ie. the suspension being one should i stick with leafs or go with coils
