enigne misfire help 4.2

i have an 89 with a 4.2 and i have done everything i can think of to fix it and it is running good but its misfire. on one of the cylinders it has a misfire but there is no computer to tell me the error code. how do i find which cylinder is misfiring?

Start up the engine and with a insulated pair of pliers pull a sparks wire off one at a time then put it back till you find the right one the wrong one will make worst the one will make no change.

One thing I love about these Jeeps is there isn't a lot of stuff to run down when solving a problem.

The post above hits it right on the head, determine the cylinder, after that it can only be Wire, Plug, or low cylinder compression. 89 was Carburated I think, so fuel wouldn't be an issue.
