Exhaust choice

Hey all, I have a 92 yj in bad need of a new exhaust, it has the 6cy and was wondering how a decent flowmaster exhaust sounds on them, are they overkill?, or do they sound kinda tough? is it just a waste of money ? the one im looking at is only 100 bucks but it does say that it is Aggressive To Moderate Exterior Exhaust I just dont want it to sound like that lame high pitch sound u see those lil cars have .

I run a 2.5" magnaflow magnapack on my XJ with a 2.5" hiflow cat and header that makes to a 2.5" downpipe. It sounds great nice deep and mellow . I'll probably do the same to my YJ. Since the cat has a hole

I'm running a FlowMaster 40 on my 6 cylinder without a cat and it sounds great. Nothing like those glass pack mufflers on those little shits that want to sound full grown.

So I ordered a flowmaster Super 44 Series and an exhaust tailpipe , will there be any need for welding?, looks like everything just unbolts from the cat back.

No after market exost sounds good on any 6 cylinder in my opinion. For it to sound somewhat decent you gotta put headers on it. My cousin has one on his tj and I think it sounds like a civic....
