Flexible Radiator Fan

Do these fans work as good as they say they do?

Thanks!

I can see them moving a little bit more air then factory, but if your looking for more cooling perhaps a bigger radiator is the answer. I'm actually looking into going electric to loose the parasitic drag

Flexible fans were designed to flatten out as you go faster, to cut down on drag on the motor. If you have a body that has one. Have him rev the motor and watch the fins.

I had one in my old CJ5...got rid of it. When you get into water that can hit the fan, they have the tendency to bend and snap the aluminum flex fins off...throw shrapnel in the engine compartment. If they don't break and get cracks in them, and you are looking into the engine bay with it running, be careful. I had a buddy almost get a piece of metal in his head when the cracked fin flew off with him looking inside. I had a flex-a-lite blue anodized fan, not a cheap one. Went to a bigger fan that was on an AMC 401 to get what I needed on my CJ. It had the 304 V8.
