? For the SBC conversion folks

I have an '89 YJ with the 2.5/5sp. I have a 290hp stock 350 with a 700r4 to put in. When y'all did your conversions, did you move the stock location of the TC? Reason I'm askin is I'm fixing to do a sye install for now and I didn't want to have to buy 2 different length DS for the rear...

I am in the process of doing the conversion and the guidance I received was to locate the engine in the engine bay first and let the transmission/transfer case follow. Then modify or replace drive shafts as necessary given their final locations.

Unfortunately I have not progressed far enough to know if in my case the shaft lengths are different but I am replacing a 4 cyl. AX-5 with a SBC, NV3550 so my specific answer may not help you regardless.
