ford 8.8 swap

i am buying a ford 8.8 to replace my dana 35and i know you need to changer the brake lines out but do i have to change ujoints, shock mounts or anything else all info would be nice

BTW, that will be most likely my plan on going. Either that or dropping in a D60 front and a 14 bolt rear in. whichever I find a better deal on first. I want coils!

its not really all that hard:

perches, shock mounts, brake lines... and ujoints dont have to be changed out if you buy an 8.8 1310 flange yoke

Drivelines, Yokes, Carrier Bearings and Spacers, Etc. Ford 8.8 Flange to 1310 Yoke Adapter

i bought two, one is a spare... bolts right up to your 8.8 yoke.

i picked up the 8.8 last night and noticed that the prev. owner had it set up for soa so i grinded off the old spring plates and i am goin to reuse them when i make them sua i only paid 150 for the axle and its 4.10

i looked at the ujoint kit but i was wonderin since i have a 95 wrangler is the ujont bigger then the 1350
