FORD 8.8 Swap Then LIFT???

Hey guys got a question.. since the deal for the tj i was trying to get fell through i may be getting a yj. now i have heard before about doing a for 8.8 swap on the yj to lose the LS up front and go w. coils.. now my question is if you swap both front and rear diffs to the 8.8 can you still put like a 4-6'' lift on them? just brain storming here, but my mental systems are down lol. also i've searched it and got the answer but just wanna double check.. you can fit front and rear tj bumpers on yj's correct?? thanks guys!

well putting an 8.8 up front could prove pretty tricky seeing as how it was never meant to be a front axle. the d30 is plenty strong for up to 35s. also, swapping to coils is going to take a good bit of fab work, and/or money. may be easier(and possibly cheaper) to find another tj to buy.

to answer your title.... LIFT WITH 8.8 SWAP!

i did it all at once and it just makes things easier and less expensive than setting it up spring under then spring over... of course that is only if you do spring over...

with my YJ? not that hard at all.. i had a buddy of mine help me and we did it in a few hours (the swap part, the hole spring over axle conversion was a day and a few hours... ) but over all we did an axle swap in the rear and spring over all the way around including everything but new gears in less than a weekend and that included several parts runs.

if you have the right tools and parts its not bad... just walk through the set up before you do anything... what all are you going to need? what tools will you need? and get that all ready and then hit it hard!!!
