ford 9 inch

i installed a ford 9inch rear end in my 92 jeep and i want to do the disc brake conversion and i need a detailed list on what rotor to use and also what calipers to use i know this and done a lot but i want one thats easy to do

Description: Wilwood 12 1/2" diameter rotor disc brake kit features drilled, slotted, plated and vented rotors, forged aluminum 4-piston black anodized calipers with pads, caliper mounting bracketry that is also the mounting for the internal drum style parking brake assembly, and your choice of wheel bolt pattern and wheel stud hole size. This kit will only fit the late model large bearing housing ends and axles with a 2.500" brake space offset.


This is the only 9" kit that I have ever seen or used. Pricey, but a good kit.

Also take a look at the hot rod suppliers. A lot of street rodders run 9 inchers with discs. I believe Currie makes them and sure there are some others. Some of the Lincoln Versailles had rear discs but the mounts and calipers are bulky and it's hard to find replacement parts so I would stay away from them.
