Ford fx4 ranger 8.8

Anyone ever swap one of these? It has disk brakes and moser 31 spline axles.

sounds like it was upgraded... as most ranger 8.8's have the lower splines shafts... not sure on the rest of the spec's vs the explorer and mountainer axles...

The splines are the big difference. 4Jeepn is right. but yeah you can swap whatever you want. Get a WMS to WMS measurement, check out the brakes, look up and make sure the axle tube diameter is the same to accept aftermarket brackets etc. It's an 8.8. Shouldn't be to different other than the basic stuff.
