Frame advice

Hey all gettin ready to dive into this '93 rebuild. Frame is in decent shape aside from expected rust, yet there's one spot that concerns me. Could I get away with a plate/patch job or best to replace the whole part?

Left rear right next to gas tank.

they make complete weld in/over sections for most of the frame. that is what I would go with... most of the bigger jeep aftermarket companies sell them...

^ I agree. If the hole looks 4" long, the rust is probably close 6-8". They make the kits and whole pieces. Check quadratec, they have the full pieces. eBay has some kits

Morris 4x4 has the same kits as Quadratec but Morris had better prices when I had to weld in new pieces of my frame rails.
